PREAMBLE
MIRAMEDIA S.r.l.s. - via a. bono cairoli 28a - 20127 - Milano (IT) - VAT# IT09399030965 - reg. at Chamber Of Commerce of MILAN MI - 2087520 is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the principles of equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination set out in Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.mira-media.it and aims to provide a clear and transparent overview of the accessibility level of the digital service, highlighting any issues and planned improvements to ensure continuous enhancement.
This document is drawn up pursuant to Annex IV of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
The assessment is carried out according to the criteria set by the technical standard UNI CEI EN 301549:2020, which incorporates the WCAG 2.1 guidelines (levels A and AA).
For each requirement, it is specified whether the website is compliant, non-compliant, partially compliant, or not applicable.
The areas analyzed concern the four fundamental principles of accessibility: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.
This document reports, for each accessibility requirement, the compliance status of the website and, where necessary, relevant explanations.
Where a requirement is not fully met or is only partially satisfied, specific information is provided to help users understand the nature of the issue.
The website is committed to taking progressive steps to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
PERCEIVABLE
Information and user interface components must be presented in ways that can be perceived by all users, regardless of sensory abilities.
This means, for example, providing text descriptions for images, subtitles for videos, and organizing content in a way that facilitates reading and comprehension even with assistive technologies.
Text Alternatives
The Site provides alternative text for most non-text content. However, some images or graphic elements are still missing accessible descriptions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.1.1 Non-text Content is only partially met.
Time-based Media
Some pre-recorded audio-only or video-only content on the Site is accompanied by transcripts or alternative descriptions, but not all. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.1 Audio-only and Video-only (Pre-recorded) is only partially met.
The pre-recorded videos on the Site are not accompanied by captions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.2 Captions (Pre-recorded) is not met.
The videos on the Site are not accompanied by audio descriptions or equivalent alternative versions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.5 Audio Description (Pre-recorded) is not met.
The pre-recorded videos on the Site do not include audio descriptions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.3 Audio Description or Alternative for Prerecorded Video is not met.
The live content streamed through the Site is not currently accompanied by real-time captions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.4 Captions (Live) is not met.
Adaptable
The Site uses semantic markup in many sections, but there are still areas that are not properly structured. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.1 Info and Relationships is only partially met.
The content order on the Site is structured to preserve meaning even without visual layout. This ensures that users, including those using assistive technologies, can correctly understand the presented information, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence.
Some instructions on the Site rely solely on visual references such as color, shape, or position, making interaction more difficult for users relying on assistive technologies. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics is only partially met.
The Site requires a fixed screen orientation (landscape or portrait) without a justification related to the functionality of the content. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.4 Orientation is not met.
The input fields on the Site are semantically identified to clearly indicate their purpose. This allows users and assistive technologies to correctly understand and use forms, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose.
Distinguishable
Some information on the Site is conveyed solely through the use of color, without additional visual or textual indicators. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.1 Use of Color is not met.
Any audio content that plays automatically on the Site can be stopped, paused, or muted within 3 seconds. This ensures compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.2 Audio Control, improving accessibility for all users.
The contrast between text and background on the Site meets the minimum values required by WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum), ensuring clear and accessible reading for users with visual impairments.
The text can be properly enlarged in most sections of the Site, but some exceptions remain where content or functionality is lost. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.4 Resize Text is only partially met.
The text on the Site is presented as real text and not as an image, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.5 Images of Text.
The content of the Site adjusts correctly to different screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling, ensuring accessibility even on mobile devices. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.10 Reflow is met.
Relevant non-text graphical content on the Site has sufficient contrast with adjacent elements, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast.
Custom text spacing is supported in most areas of the Site. However, some sections still show layout issues, such as overlapping or cut-off content. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.12 Text Spacing is only partially met.
Most content triggered by hover or focus on the Site is accessible. However, certain interfaces present issues: in some sections, additional content is not fully accessible via keyboard or cannot be easily dismissed. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus is only partially met.
OPERABLE
The interface must be usable by everyone, including those who cannot use a mouse or traditional input devices.
It is essential to ensure access via keyboard, provide clear and stable navigation methods, avoid content that may cause disorientation or adverse reactions, and offer controls for any time limits.
Keyboard Accessible
All functionalities of the Site can be used via keyboard, without requiring interactions exclusively through mouse or touch. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.1 Keyboard is met.
The Site complies with WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap. Keyboard navigation is always possible, and users are never trapped within any user interface component.
The Site does not meet WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.4 Character Key Shortcuts. Some keyboard shortcuts interfere with keyboard navigation or assistive technologies, reducing accessibility.
Enough Time
The Site does not include features that impose time limits for form completion, navigation, or interaction. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.2.1 regarding timing adjustable does not apply.
The Site allows some moving content to be paused, stopped, or hidden, but this is not possible for all elements. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.2.2 is only partially met.
The Site does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.3.1.
Navigable
The Site does not provide functionality to skip repetitive blocks. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 criterion 2.4.1 is not satisfied.
Each page of the Site has a descriptive and consistent title that reflects its content. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 criterion 2.4.2 is met.
The keyboard navigation order is logical and follows the visual structure of the page. The requirement under WCAG 2.4.3 (Focus Order) is satisfied.
All links on the Site have a clear and understandable purpose, even when read out of context. Therefore, the requirement under WCAG 2.4.4 (Link Purpose - In Context) is met.
Some sections provide multiple ways to access the information, while others do not. The requirement under WCAG 2.4.5 (Multiple Ways) is only partially satisfied.
The headings and labels on the Site are structured to clearly describe the content or purpose of the related elements. Therefore, the requirement under WCAG 2.4.6 (Headings and Labels) is met.
The keyboard focus is visible in most sections of the Site, but in some areas it is missing or not clearly distinguishable. The Site is partially compliant with WCAG criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
Input Modalities
Most functionalities on the Site can be activated using simple pointer gestures, but some require more complex actions such as dragging. The Site partially meets WCAG criterion 2.5.1 (Pointer Gestures).
Some interactive components on the Site trigger actions only on pointer release or include cancellation mechanisms. However, other elements are activated immediately on the first tap or click, without confirmation or the ability to cancel. Therefore, the Site only partially complies with WCAG criterion 2.5.2 (Pointer Cancellation).
The match between accessible name and visible label is met for most interactive elements. However, some components show minor discrepancies that may cause confusion when using assistive technologies. WCAG 2.5.3 (Label in Name) is therefore only partially satisfied.
The site does not include functionalities that are activated through physical movement of the device, such as shaking or rotating. Therefore, the WCAG 2.5.4 (Motion Actuation) criterion does not apply.
UNDERSTANDABLE
Content and interaction mechanisms must be clear and understandable to all.
This includes using plain language, specifying the page’s language, maintaining consistency in labels and actions, and providing effective support for form completion and error identification.
Readable
The primary language of the Site is correctly declared in the code. Therefore, the requirement under WCAG 3.1.1 (Language of Page) is met.
Sections of the Site written in a language different from the main one are properly marked in the code, in accordance with WCAG 3.1.2 Language of Parts.
Predictable
All content on the Site changes state, appearance, or behavior automatically when receiving keyboard focus, without user initiation. This behavior can confuse or hinder navigation, especially for users relying on assistive technologies. The Site does not meet WCAG criterion 3.2.1 On Focus.
All content on the Site reacts immediately to changes in input fields or selection of options, causing page changes, new windows to open, or automatic content updates without user confirmation or warning. This does not comply with WCAG criterion 3.2.2 On Input.
Repeated elements such as headers, menus, and footers maintain a consistent position and structure across all pages of the Site, making navigation easier for users. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.2.3 Consistent Navigation)
Elements that perform the same function across different pages of the Site (e.g., buttons or links with the same action) are labeled consistently. This ensures that users can easily recognize and use them without confusion. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.2.4 Consistent Identification)
Input Assistance
When a user fills out a form on the Site (such as submitting a request or registering), any errors are clearly indicated. The fields with errors are identified, along with a description of the issue, so the user can correct it easily. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.1 Error Identification)
All input fields on the Site are accompanied by labels or instructions that clearly explain their purpose, supporting users during form completion. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions)
When a user fills out a form and makes a mistake (for example, leaving a required field empty or using the wrong format), the Site displays a message that clearly explains what the problem is and how to fix it. This helps users correct the error without confusion. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.3 Error Suggestion)
The Site does not include critical operations, such as submitting data, activating contracts, or initiating binding transactions for the user. Therefore, the requirement to review, confirm, or cancel such operations does not apply. (WCAG 2.1 Criterion – 3.3.4 Error Prevention)
ROBUST
Digital content must be developed in a robust way, i.e., compatible with a wide range of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.
Properly structured code allows for safe and reliable access, ensuring that functionalities are recognized and usable by all users, including those using screen readers or other accessibility tools.
Compatible
The Site’s source code (including HTML) is properly structured and free of syntax errors that could hinder interpretation by assistive technologies. All elements are correctly nested, closed, and declared according to specifications. WCAG 4.1.1 (Parsing) is satisfied.
All interactive elements on the Site are properly identified by name, role, and value, as required by WCAG 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). This ensures that assistive technologies can correctly interpret and convey the purpose and status of each component.
The Site meets WCAG 4.1.3 (Status Messages). Notifications and messages that inform the user about changes in the interface, such as confirmation or error messages, are made accessible to assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) without requiring the user to move focus.
Conclusion
This statement is based on a self-assessment conducted in compliance with current regulations and is subject to periodic review, especially in the event of significant changes to the website or regulatory updates.
The website owner is committed to ensuring fair and inclusive access to its digital content and invites users to report any difficulties or suggestions by writing to info@mira-media.it, in order to continuously improve the site's accessibility.
